Alex McBee and Shane Buchanan combined on a no-hitter as Auburn Mountainview defeated visiting Federal Way 4-1 in a 4A North Puget Sound League Olympic Division game Wednesday.
McBeen struck out 14 and allowed only one walk in a 103-pitch, 6 1/3-inning effort. Buchanan shut the door, striking out one.
The Lions improved to 2-4 in league, 5-5 overall. The Eagles dropped to 5-1 and 7-2.
Hayden Byorick doubled and drove in a run, and Dalton Shockman and Nate Weeldreyer each had an RBI for the Lions.

At Jefferson 3, Auburn Riverside: Avery Cantino struck out 13 and allowed one hit in 6 2/3 shutout innings and Brayden Brown drove in two runs as the Raiders (3-4, 4-5) stopped the Ravens (5-2, 8-3) in Olympic Division play.
Nick Lancaster struck out seven and scattered six hits in six innings and took the loss.
At Auburn 8, Decatur 4: The Trojans (2-4, 3-6) defeated the Gators (1-5, 1-6) in division play.
