University of Washington sophomore and womens basketball player Mercedes Wetmore was named the GoHuskies.com Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Nov. 14 to 20.

Wetmore, an Auburn Riverside graduate and Auburn Reporter Female Athlete of the Year, notched a career-high 17 points in the Huskies 73-67 win over Cal State Northridge this past week. Wetmore added three rebounds, three assists and one steal and was 9-of-10 from the free throw line.

Earlier in the week Wetmore notched 16 points, with three assists and two steals, in the Huskies first win of the season against Seattle University, 72-53.

As a Raven, Wetmore won two Washington State girls basketball titles.
