The American Basketball Association Seattle Mountaineers have signed Jeremy File.
File, a 6-foot point guard has played professional basketball for six seasons, including stints in China, as well as in the U.S. with the CBA, IBL and ABA.
File has averaged 16 points, 7.5 assists and 5.4 rebounds per game for his career. He played college ball for NCAA Division I Western Michigan University in 2003-2005 before transferring to Olivet College.
“Jeremy is a veteran player who plays at a high level every night and has been a part of four division championship teams at the professional level,” Mountaineer coach Donald Sims said. “His experience will be a valuable asset to the Mountaineer program this coming 2011-2012 season.”
The Seattle Mountaineers are part of the American Basketball Association and play their home games at Green River Community College.
