Two Auburn Mountainview graduates were in action on Oct. 12 on the football field in Provo, Utah.

Redshirt-junior Talan Alfrey from Brigham Young University played against Keanu Mailoto from the University of Arizona.

Neither player recorded any stats, but have played in all six games this season for their respective teams. Alfrey is in his fourth year with the Cougars and has played in 23 total games in his career. He played in 13 games during the 2022-23 season for BYU.

In Mailoto’s case, he went the junior college route before landing in Tucson. Mailoto attended Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, Ca. While playing for Mt. SAC, Mailoto recorded 19 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and two sacks.
