No. 6-ranked Auburn Mountainview downs No. 9 Enumclaw 3-2 in SPSL 3A action | Prep Volleyball

Auburn Mountainview, ranked No. 6 in the Washington State Volleyball Coaches Association poll, improved to 2-0 in the South Puget Sound League 3A on Monday with a 3-2 win over No. 9-ranked Enumclaw.

The 4-3 overall Lions posted scores of 20-25, 25-18, 28-26, 14-25, 15-7 to overcome the Hornets (1-1 league, 5-1 overall).

Auburn Mountainview was led by Sam Odren who had 37 assists and 12 digs. Alex Odren added 23 digs and three aces and Caitlin Carr had 18 kills and 13 digs. Kelsey Fausko chimed in with 19 kills.

Enumclaw was led by Haylee May Dennis who had 21 kills, 16 digs and four aces. Gina Sanders contributed 36 assists and Katina Ferguson had 10 kills and seven blocks. Julia Meyers had 14 digs.

The Lions will travel to Bonney Lake (2-0, 7-0) at 7 p.m Wednesday and host Lakes next Tuesday.
