The Ravens completed their regular season with a 3-2 win over district rival Auburn on Tuesday night. The Ravens won with scores of 25-20, 22-25, 25-18, 19-25 and 15-5 to complete a perfect 8-0 run in the South Puget Sound League North 4A, good for first place in league.
Raven (11-2 overall) senior Brooke Bray led her team with 30 kills, four blocks and 23 digs. Brooklynn Bradbury had 61 assists and 18 digs and Maureen Sachs added 12 kills and 28 digs. Alison Wuerch had 13 kills. For Auburn (6-2 league, 8-4 overall), Sierra Atkinson had five kills, 44 assists and three aces. Skyler Atkinson had nine kills and 19 digs and Isia Johnson chipped in with 24 kills and three blocks. Both the Trojans and Ravens will begin postseason play in the SPSL 4A Volleyball Tournament, beginning 11 a.m. Oct. 31 at Todd Beamer High School in Federal Way.
