The Washington Interscholastic Activities Association chose Auburn Riverside volleyball player Calley Heilborn as its Athlete of the Week winner for Week 11 (Nov. 5-11) on Wednesday.

Heilborn helped the Ravens capture their third title in four years with a 3-2 victory over Mead of Spokane last Saturday night in Kennewick. She registered 27 kills and 18 digs in the finals, which fueled the victory and led to repeating as tournament MVP.

Each week throughout the school year, the WIAA recognizes varsity athletes who exhibited an outstanding performance for the previous week (based off nominations). All varsity level students in good academic standing at their schools are eligible to receive the WIAA Athlete of the Week Award. Students may win the WIAA Athlete of the Week Award once during any given academic year.
