Ravens, Lions solidify district playoff spots in football | NPSL

Tiano Malietufa ran for 150 yards and two touchdowns and passed for a third as Auburn Riverside defeated Federal Way 42-14 in a North Puget Sound League Olympic Division game at Auburn Memorial Stadium Friday night.

Isaiah Prescott ran for 104 yards and a touchdown and caught a TD, and Sam Braboy added 82 yards and another score for the district playoff-bound Ravens (5-1 division, 7-1 overall).

Javon Forward also scored on a short run for Auburn Riverside.

Malietufa, who passed for 101 yards, scored on runs of 32 and 34 yards.

The Eagles dropped to 2-4 and 3-5.

Auburn Riverside rolled up 551 yards of offense, 363 of which came on the ground.

The Ravens play rival Auburn (3-3, 5-3) this Friday.

Elsewhere

Auburn Mountainview 48, at Decatur 21: Sui Daniels three four touchdown passes – three to Talan Alfrey – as the Lions (4-2, 4-4) clinched a district playoff berth with a rout of the Gators (0-6, 2-6) in an NPSL Olympic Division game at Federal Way on Friday night.

Daniels completed 23 of 34 passes for 231 yards, finding Alfrey for scores covering 4, 8 and 40 yards.

Bill Benjamin threw a 65 -yard TD pass to Drew Davenport, who returned an interception 20 yards for a score.

Benjamin had six catches for 119 yards and 2 TDs on the night for the Lions.

Carlos Huizar kicked a pair of 27-yard field goals.

Davenport had an interception and a team-leading 12 tackles.

Auburn Mountainview, riding a four-game winning streak, hosts playoff-bound Enumclaw (5-1, 7-1) on Thursday.

At Todd Beamer 39, Auburn 7: Colin McKay had 242 all-purpose yards and scored four touchdowns as the Titans (4-2, 6-2) clinched a district playoff spot with a win over the Trojans at Federal Way on Thursday night.

Marcus Martin scored from the 2 for the Trojans.
