This recreation league, with an emphasis on fun, is being offered by Auburn Parks and the Auburn Senior Activity Center on Mondays at 9 a.m. through Oct. 27. Play will take place at Auburn Golf Course. The league fee is $10. Greens fees at Auburn are $15 for nine holes and $22 for 18 holes, and are payable at the course. AUBURN PARKS YOUTH PROGRAM
This developmental for wrestlers ages 6-12 focuses on fundamentals, sportsmanship, conditioning, teamwork and confidence in a fun but competitive atmosphere. Practices are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-8 p.m. Matches are on Saturdays, with some travel in the surrounding area required. Matches last between four and eight hours, depending on whether it’s a dual meet or a tournament. The cost is $75-$85 per wrestler, based on residency, and the early registration deadline is Oct. 20.
