AUBURN PARKS YOUTH CAMP
This camp is for those ages 6-12, with skills ranging from beginning to advanced on all four events: vault, uneven parallel bars, balance beam, and floor exercise (on a spring floor). The final one-week camp at the Auburn Gymnastics Center (1601 Boundary Blvd.) is set for Aug. 17-21 from from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. each day, and the theme is Great American Athletes week. The cost is $150 for Auburn residents and $180 for non-residents. A PRESCHOOL CAMP for those ages 4-6 will be offered on the same days with the same theme from 9 a.m.-noon daily. The cost for preschoolers is $85 for Auburn residents and $107 for non-residents. Campers should bring a lunch. BEGINNERS PROGRAM
The Sno-King Junior Thunderbirds will offer a year-round, beginners-level program for boys and girls ages 5-10. No skating experience is necessary. The program will be on Saturdays at Castle Ice in the Renton Highlands, or at Kingsgate Ice Arena in Kirkland. Players are welcome to join at any time. The pool offers several programs. PUBLIC SWIMS are available Monday through Friday from 1-3 p.m. and 7-8 p.m. at $2.75 for adults and $2.25 for youths. LAP SWIMS are scheduled for Monday through Friday from 6-8 a.m., noon-1 p.m. and 8-9 p.m. at $3.75 for adults and $2.75 for youths. LESSONS are available on a Monday-Wednesday or Tuesday-Thursday basis from 5:30-7 p.m., and on Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.-noon. Prices depend on age.
