The Auburn Riverside girls and boys track and field team put a double hurting on the Todd Beamer this Thursday, with the boys team steamrolling the Titans 87-45 and the girls notching a narrow 72-69 victory.
Sophomore Andrey Zadneprovskiy finished first in the high jump, with a 5-foot-8 mark. He was also first in the 300- and 110-meter hurdles with 43.88- and 15.4-second times respectively.
Stanford bound senior Kenny Krotzer took first in all three distance running events, posting a 2:02.9 in the 800, a 4:26.3 in the 1,600 and a 9:37.6 in the 3,200.
In the field events, Brandon Hand was first in the shot put with a 40-7, Josh Keller was first in the discus with a 109.9 and Madison Hoevet was first in the javelin with a 121.0 toss.
Wilfred DeLaRosa took first in both the triple and long jumps with a 42-0.5 and 19-8.5 respectively.
Beamer posted first place finishers in the 100, 200 and 400 as well as in the 400 relay.
For the Raven girls, senior Rebecca Turnbow turned in a 10.6 pole vault in her first meet of the season.
Gina Cardenas grabbed first place in the shot put and the discus with throws of 34-9 and 97-8, respectively.
Brandi Williams was first in three events, posting a 16-8 in the long jump as well as a 13.66 in the 100 and a 27.09 in the 200.
Cassidy Brown was first in the 400 with a 1:01.0 time and Rachel Atwood was first in the 1,600 with a 5:15.9.
In the 3,200 Megan McCabe was first with a 12:13.0.
In the javelin Emily Starkel was first with a 79-3, and Elise Jones captured the high jump with a 5-0.
In the 1,600 relay Auburn Riverside captured first with a 4:30.38.
