The Auburn Trojans were undone by  Sumner 3-0 in South Puget Sound League 3A play on Thursday.

The Spartans (2-0) won by scores of 25-11, 25-15 and 25-22.

The Trojans (1-0) were led by freshman outside hitter Leana Liu with eight kills, 11 digs and two aces.

Sophomore setter Celine Liulamega had 10 assists and seven digs and junior libero Kianna Ly chipped in with 15 digs.

Sumner’s Heather Thompson had eight kills and six aces.

Auburn will host Peninsula at 7:15 p.m. next Tuesday.
