Thornquist defeated Mead’s Mackenzie Draper 6-0, 6-0 in the first round before losing 6-2, 6-0 to eventual state champ Sammi Hampton of Skyview in round two.
In the consolation bracket Thornquist fell 6-4, 6-1 to Kamiak’s Sally Park in a loser-out contest.
