Three Auburn Mountainview runners placed in the top 75 at last Saturday’s Class 3A cross country championships at Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco.

On the boys side, senior Christian Rotter finished 33rd in 16 minutes, 12.9 seconds. The Lions’ other placer was freshman Nick Wolfe, who was 74th in 16:40.3.

North Central’s Justin Janke won the race in 15:02.

There were 140 in the boys field.

Auburn Mountainview’s only girl qualifier, sophomore Samantha Goedde, was 65th in 20:04.5. Holy Names’ Jordan Oakes (17:53.5) was the top placer on the girls side.

The girls fielded 139 runners.
